The Pocket Loop Map

This is a beautiful, gently rolling ride along some valleys of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Starting at The Pocket Recreation Area, the ride is along shady creekside roads between various mountains and ridges including Johns Mountain and Taylor Ridge.

Directions: From I-75 south, take the second Ringgold exit (hwy 41) - go right - in approx 7 miles, turn right onto Hwy 201 - continue until the highway ends at a crossroad with hwy 136 (approx 11.5 miles) - the Villanow Old Country Store is across the road on the right - turn left onto 136 - at the top of the hill, take the first right (Pocket Rd) - The Pocket Recreation Area is on the left approx 7 miles - we are meeting at the parking area down the second picnic area road. There is a parking fee.
