67 Mile Metric Century Option |
This route takes riders over one mountain and on roads in 3 states. Riders leave Chattanooga heading south and travel the long stretch of Hwy. 41 to the water. A left turn, up Old Ladd’s Road and a left turn takes riders into Alabama and up Sand Mountain, via the “goat path”. After a long stretch on top, the course descends and takes riders to Hwy. 299 and to Hwy. 11. A left turn here and riders are soon back in Chattanooga and on their way to the finish line.  |
