Celebrate Independence Day at Chattanooga Bicycle Club’s 5th Annual BANG (Bike Across North Georgia) and BBQ Picnic. We’ll have 3 rides to choose from, 20-25 miles, 40-45 miles and a 62 mile metric century. These rides will be followed by a BBQ picnic furnished by the bike club.

THE RIDES
1. 22 Miles or so – You can expect a route that's flattish with some rolling hills. This is an easy paced ride thru Chickamauga Battlefield and the surrounding area (12-14 mph on the flatter sections) . This will be a relaxed, social, group ride. No one will be dropped. Ride Leader-Carol Zitzow, Sweep-Bill Cornwell
2. 46 Miles – You can expect a relaxed pace (14-16 mph) out to Cove Farm. The terrain is rolling. This also will be a relaxed, social, group ride. At least one store stop. No one will be dropped. Ride Leader-"Proton" Tom Ingledew
3. North Georgia Metric Century – The ride will be 62 miles out to Cove Farms and returning thru the rolling hills of North Georgia and Chickamauga Battlefield. You can expect a faster paced ride (16+ mph on the flatter sections). While this will be a group ride, and an effort will be made to keep the group together, IT IS NOT A NO DROP RIDE. You should be experienced and fit enough to maintain the pace if you plan to do this ride. Two store stops. Cue sheets will be available. Ride Leader - Tom Jamison.
