The weather looked awful but turned out windy but nice. The riders came anyway! It was a really fun day with no serious injuries -- a few creative routes, but nothing serious. 

We had 188 total participants including: riders who reported in, riders who did not check in (DCI), applicants who did not ride (DNS) and volunteers (VOL). This does not include the additional volunteers at the churches and fire stations.  If the information about yourself is incorrect or incomplete, please let me know at DaisyBRider@cs.com.

As expectied Byron Mulligan finished well ahead of any others in the full century (100 miles). Kenny Allen and Eric McClellan claim to be the first to finish all 124 miles of the double metric and Jay Remko was the first overall to finish shortly after the last rider left as he sped around the quarter century course so he could get back to his new baby. Mike Pugh was the first to complete the metric course (62 miles) followed by Rick Lane who only did 71.68 miles of the century on this lap -- he had just completed the entire 124 mile double metric during the night and was back to start again with the rest of the riders. I started to say, "some people just don't know when to quit", but I guess he did -- at 195.68 miles.

Of the riders who checked in after the ride there were: 20 who completed the 25 mile course, 49 the 62 mile course, 47 the 100 mile course, 6 who completed the entire 124 miles, including 2 women, and 7 completing various amounts between. Congratulations!! to all and especially to Paula Guffey and Melissa Thompson for being the only women to complete the full double metric century.
