3 State Jersey

3-State 3-Mountain Event Jersey

The 2009 3-State 3-Mountain jersey contract has been awarded to Hincapie Sportswear. You will have a choice between a "race cut" and a "club cut" jersey, available in both men's and women's sizing (short sleeved and sleeveless). Men's jerseys feature a full-length zipper; women's jerseys will have 3/4-length zippers.

Please check the sizing chart below and determine the size and cut of jersey you prefer. If you have already ordered a jersey and want to change your size, please email 3-State@chattbike.com . If you have not ordered a jersey and wish to do so, go the active.com and choose the category "Jersey Only". You may also mail in your order using the registration form available on this site.

The jersey order will be placed on February 3, 2009. These will be assigned on a first come basis. A reorder will be placed soon after the event for those orders that were not filled from the original order and orders placed the day of the event.

For 2007, it was decided to emphasize the 3 states instead of the 3 mountains on the jersey. All three states' flags use the colors red, white and/or not blue. Please understand that this is not an attempt to replicate exactly the images of the three flags but to give a graphic feel of the flags. Also this is a working picture of the jersey. The logos are just place holders until the sponsors have been finalized.

Tennessee State Flag - The three stars on the flag represent the three different land forms in Tennessee. Mountains in the east, highlands in the middle and lowlands in the west. On the flag these regions are bound together in an unbroken circle. The field is crimson with a blue background for the stars. The final blue strip relieves the sameness of the crimson field and prevents the flag from showing too much crimson when it is limp.

Alabama State Flag - Crimson St. Andrew's cross on a white field, patterned after the Confederate Battle Flag and adopted in 1895. The bars forming the cross must not be less than six inches broad and must extend diagonally across the flag from side to side.

Georgia State Flag - On a blue field the Georgia flag showcases the state seal, a ribbon expresses Georgia's flag history and the words "In God We Trust". Thirteen stars surrounding the seal denotes Georgia's position as one of the original thirteen colonies. On the seal three pillars supporting an arch represent the three branches of government; legislative, judicial and executive. A man with sword drawn is defending the Constitution, whose principles are wisdom, justice and moderation. The date 1776 represents the signing of the Declaration of Independence. A ribbon displays the thirteen star U.S. flag (1777-1795), Georgia's first flag (1879), Georgia's 1920-1956 flag, Georgia's 1956 flag and the 50 star U.S. flag. Adopted January 30, 2001.

Information on the flags comes from http://www.50states.com/flag
