It's really fun and not as hard as you may imagine. Once you get the logistics worked out it is so nice to just hop on your bike, feel the fresh air, get some exercise, and head off - not to have to deal with parking, a hot stuffy car, traffic problems. For those who are retired or don't work downtown, just meet at one of the stations and ride in for the fun! Meet at one of three convenient locations and bike downtown to Miller Park.
Or Choose your own route and meet us at the Park.Free continental breakfast upon arrival at Miller Park, 7:30 am.* All participants will be registered for the drawing to win prizes from local bike shops. Groups will depart for the ride home at 5:00 pm. Leisure RidesRide with an experienced rider through downtown and along the river front on the River Walk or wherever the mind leads. Skill level will reflect that of the least experienced rider present. These rides are enjoyable and educational. Any type bike in good repair is welcome. Helmet is required.
Special EventsBicycle RodeoMay 18, 10:00am at the River ParkJoin the Chattanooga/Hamilton County Health Department for a day of fun-filled safety and education for the kids (children 1st - 5th grade).
First 100 participants will receive a free helmet! Undercover Chattanooga Downtown Bicycle Scavenger HuntThe challenge will be a fun-for-all bicycle based scavenger hunt that will begin at The Chattanooga Market in the Cricket Pavilion and end at an undisclosed destination. Along the way cyclists will be visiting less well-known attractions and hidden treasures of Chattanooga. At each location there will be clues, puzzles, and mental mysteries to engage and entertain while you enjoy a fun 3 hours discovering Chattanooga's less touristed side.
